Make sure you won't miss HURTS, England's latest synth-pop sensation. They are gonna play at the Magnet Club tomorrow night, thus participating in our much-beloved Intro Intim concert series.
With just the right amount of fashion sensibility, the two Mancunians have made it onto the top four position of the BBC's Sound of 2010 list, right behind Ellie Goulding, Marina & The Diamonds, and Delphic, and one ahead of the Drums - so we should expect something here. Their sound is dark yet blissful, distinctly Manchester, very eighties but still state-of-the-art. Summing up, it's just the sound we're gonna hear a lot this year, and rightly so.
