We've been reading about Mikey S. aka Blackbird Blackbird before on these humble pages, but since our favourite and most delicate San Francisco dream boy has released his debut album Summer Heart LP digitally a few days ago, it has been spinning on constant repeat (if mp3's do spin), filling our ears with ever growing summery joy and happiness. So basically the only thing I wanted to tell you right now is GO BUY this marvelous piece of synth-leaden chillwave goodness via the artists' bandcamp site, it's worth every single penny. Even more exciting, our most beloved bearded white guys over at Wonder Beard Tapes have announced the album's physical release on cassette in September. nn
