Last Monday, we introduced you to Wax Idols, Oakland's one woman show for fine and captivating melodic girl punk pop, and after her blissful duet with Hanoi Janes, Heather posted a new tune off her upcoming tape on her tumblr last night. I guess All Too Human is actually the first opportunity to listen to one of her own songs the way she intended them to sound, shying away from jumping on the bandwagon to sound as overtly lo-fi as possible, which is kind of good news for my ears once in a while. Three minutes of pure joy and the best way to get the day started.
Wax Idols' cassette will be released by San Francisco's Psychic Snerts sometime soon.
