The myspace description says all we need to know: Craig Cruiser is hailing from the beautiful Netherlands, judging from the hyperactive yet blissed out first tune Tubing probably raised in some Amsterdam coffee shop, and somehow the dude has made a whole lot of money so now he records music on his 1.2 million dollar yacht, sailing the seven seas. Lush life.
Except that it's not true.
As you'll certainly know, NFOP is all about tough-minded investigation, so after a sleepless night we're pretty sure to be on the safe side by telling you now that Craig Cruiser is in fact Ben Wagner's new project, cause before we ever had a real opportunity to cover his wonderful last one Hooray! (though this might be the right time to call attention to Hooray's much appraised debut cassette Bedroom Adventures which is right now available via Wonder Beard Tapes), Wagner has declared that it's gone. For good. But before y'all drown in sorrow, I'd suggest you take a listen to the successor, and I promise the sun will shine again.
