August 3 will see the release of Erasers' debut cassette tape Summer on Solid Melts, and the duo's dark and looming pop songs are really something to get excited about. Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, Rupert and Rebecca imagine enthralling and intimate chamber pop, not leaning towards the bright side but still also not there to bring you down. Erasers' music was rather made for late night seances after sweltering days, with the sunlight already faded but the heat still wandering through the city's darkening streets. Summer, indeed.
