According to Google Maps, there's exactly one Hamilton Road in the Garden State, very roughly connecting Hillsborough's public library with the Spooky Brook Golf Course, and though we don't know if Matt Mondanile is singing about this particular road or if the name's just a proxy for any street in the urban fringe, Hamilton Road is another piece of suburban summer splendour by our favourite hypnagogist, one hundred seventy four seconds of easily meandering, slightly distorted guitars and blurred vocals, in other words, exactly the signature that made us adore that guy in the first place.
Bearing in mind that we're only listening to an unmastered version of Hamilton Road, we're nonetheless stoked by the first song from Matt's upcoming Ducktails III: Arcade Dynamics, due later this year on Woodsist Records.
