Baksete is the moniker of singer-songwriter
Einar Stray (whom we've recently declared our love to), an experimental electronica project he started back in 2008, heavily inspired by the dark/drag scene. From mixing shoegazing ambient with fast, Kim Hiorthøy like beats in
Hello King, to messing around with ghost-like, dark synths in
Fuck Society; Stray once again proves to us what kind of talented musician he really is — as well as confirming to us all that it's not only the indie genre he handles with glance.
All though we haven't heard any new tunes from
Baksete other than the four tracks he've released for free at
Urørt, I cross my fingers for this being a project that will be kept alive in the nearest future, and not just a passing phase of his musical career.
