Fielded is Chicago's Lindsay Anne Powell, and her dark experimental pop is playing just a little with recent "witch house" projects such as Zola Jesus: despite all the hauling, scary synth patterns and occasional goth elements like subtle chimes, Powell remains safely on a friendlier side.
Fielded's new album Terrageist will be put out by Catholic Tapes on September 7.
