To assert this collaboration "makes sense" would be a blunt understatement - if you've listened to my most recent mix, you'll already know what I mean. Two of our absolute favourites, Sydney's Lavurn Lee aka Guerre and South Carolina's Evan Adams aka Top Girls have finally taken the long overdue step and joined forces to combine their impeccable sense for slow-burning, dark and reduced rhythm and blues, and the result is nothing less than a masterpiece. Waiting is like the last missing piece in the bigger picture when it comes this year's new music landscape.
